Hong Kong SAR Nine electronics products designed and manufactured in Asia were named winners of the second Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL) Electronics Design Awards (www.globalsources.com/elecawards) at a press conference in Hong Kong. The Design of the Year Award went to Shenzhen Voxtech’s radio communication headset designed for high-end tactical applications such as military, SWAT and riot police. It is an ear-free device equipped with a dual-bone conduction speaker that converts radio-transmitted communications into mechanical vibrations that send sound to the internal ear through the cranial bones.
